Standing in Measham, just off the High Street, St Laurence Church needed restoration and conservation.
The Project was awarded to Weldon Stone Enterprises Limited by Peter Rogan Associates Limited.
Stone type chosen was Mottled Hollington.
Once the scaffold was erected the extent of repair became clear.
The East end windows needed new tracery, mullions, cills and conservation. The North and South aisle windows also needed new tracery, mullions, cills and glazing repairs.
Then we started on the Tower, new ashlar: quoins, jambs, cornice and window heads were needed plus repointing in various areas.
The porch required new copings, ashlars, quoins and some re-pointing.
